How to order

Making order is simple. Just go through the following steps:

1. Register account on JAPANEXPORTS ONLINE SHOP. After your account is approved, you will get confirmation mail to your registered mail address. Follow the link provided in the mail to complete registration.

2. Search for the items you wish to purchase by selecting required category or brand, or by using Search option located at top of the web page. We strongly recommend you to search by item`s JAN-code as a unique 13-digit number assigned to each item made in Japan and sold at domestic market. 

3. Choose the item(s) you want to buy and add to the shopping cart. Now you can proceed with your order. Click shopping cart symbol and then View Cart button to view the items you have added. Here you can also estimate shipping fee and see total order amount with discount applied. Do not forget to login to view prices! Please note that the prices are hidden by default so you can check them only after completing registration and logging in. Now you can proceed with your order. 


4. If you have a discount coupon, enter the code in the Use Coupon Code field and then click Apply Coupon button. After the coupon discount is applied  (step 1), proceed with checkout (Checkout button). Enter the following information regarding the order: 

Step 2. Billing address (by default your registered address is used, but you can set another address);

Step 3. Delivery address;

Step 4. Choose delivery method from the list; then you can add comments regarding your order, if any;

Step 5. Select preferred payment method;

Please read carefully and agree to our Terms & Conditions prior to completing the order.

Step 6. Check your order information summary. You can see total order amount with shipping fee, discounts etc. included. If everything is correct, complete the order by clicking Confirm Order button.

Now we are ready to process your order.

Please note we start processing your order only after you have paid for it.


Discounts / Minimum order quantity and amount requirements


Depending on your total order amount, the following discount rates will be applied:

Total amount exceeds JPY100, 000.00, but less than JPY250, 000.00: 3%

Total amount exceeds JPY250, 000.00, but less than JPY500, 000.00: 5%

Total amount exceeds JPY5000, 000.00, but less than JPY750, 000.00: 7%

Total amount exceeds JPY750, 000.00: 10% 

Note that discounts are calculated based on order amount only, shipping costs and/or payment fees are not included.

Furthermore, special price and discount coupon codes can be applied along with the total order amount discount, so you have opportunity to order products with up to 20% discount!

JAPANEXPORTS LLC is a wholesale clients-targeted company, and in order to ensure lower prices for our customers, we have to apply following limitations per order amount and items` quantity:

1. The order amount must exceed JPY30,000. You cannot proceed with the checkout until your shopping cart contains items with total value equal or exceeding JPE30,000.

2. Each items has minimum quantity available to order; for example, if an item has minimum quantity of 20, you can buy 20 pcs or more of this product.

These requirements are essential in order to provide better prices for our clients. Thank you for understanding.


Payment


Currently we accept the following payments:

PayPal. Popular payment system which is safe both for customer and seller. The payments are instant, and we will be notified immediately after you have made payment. Please note that PayPal charges transaction fee to seller, so we have to pay payment fee to the system, which is 4% of total amount transferred; therefore, if you choose to pay by PayPal, the payment fee will be added to your total order amount while checking out.

Bank transfer. You can make international money transfer to our bank account in MUFJ BANK, Japan. After the order is placed, you can download invoice from your Order History page. It usually takes 1 to 3 business days to receive your payment, therefore you can send us copy of payment slip or other document to confirm you have effected the payment, to speed up processing your order. Payment fees, if any, depend on a bank you choose for transaction, and should be paid by the payee.

Other payment methods are not currently supported.


Currency rates


As Japan-registered company, we have to complete all transactions in Japanese Yen. We do not accept any other currencies. Prices in USD, Russian ruble, Chinese yuan and euro on product pages are for your reference only. However, for your convenience, the rates are updated in daily manner based on MUFJ BANK exchange rates.


Processing your order


After your payment is confirmed, we start processing your order. As you can see, each item has stock status (or Availability) specified on its page. An item can be rather in stock, so we can start preparing it for shipping immediately after you have made the payment, or it has 2-3 days availability, or, in some cases, 3-10 days availability. If the item is not in stock, it takes time specified in the Availability status, to deliver to our warehouse. During that period, your order will have Processing status.

As soon as your order is in stock, the order status will change to Shipping. That means we start packing your order and preparing various supporting documents required for shipping. It usually takes 1-2 business days to ship your order, but in case of orders totaling ¥500, 000 and more, it will require plus 1 business day for additional customs procedures. 


Interaction / Correspondence / Notifications / Reviews


For any general questions regarding our service, please contact us using Customer Service form, or via JAPANEXPORTS` Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp accounts. 

If you have any questions regarding certain product you are interesting in but have not completed the order yet, contact via the Product Questions` form on product page. 


For correspondence regarding particular order you have made, we use email. You will be notified on the order`s status changes, shipping date etc.; we also contact you via email in case of any additional confirmation required from the client. Please save email history to ensure timely processing of your order.

Please note that JAPANEXPORTS ONLINE SHOP does not accept orders / inquiries by phone, in order to reduce order processing time and cut costs.

While registering new account, you can choose if you want to get notification emails from our store. We would strongly recommend you to use this option in order to get information on current specials, discounts, etc. This option is ON by default, but you can turn it off by changing your account settings.

Shipping


We can offer you the following options to ship your order:

 

Express Mail Service (EMS)


EMS is the fastest international mail service for sending up to 30 kg of merchandise simply and conveniently to over 120 countries and territories worldwide. Posts will be delivered for approximately 2 to 4 days to addressee all over the world. Maximum parcel weight is up to 30 kg depending on the addressee country / area.

 

International Airmail


Fees are relatively high since posts will be sent by air. Delivery will be made in approximately 3 to 6 days. Maximum parcel weight is up to 30 kg depending on the addressee country / area.

 

International Economy Air (SAL)


It transports items by air at lower priority than air mail. The service is relatively fast while the cost is lower than airmail. It takes approximately 6 to 13 days for mail to arrive at the destination. Maximum parcel weight is up to 30 kg depending on the addressee country / area.

 

*In some cases, it may take longer due to the handling system of the destination country.

*For all of the aforesaid methods, payment upon delivery is not acceptable. The shipping fee is paid in advance by the sender, therefore we have to add the shipping fee to your order amount.

Multi parcel option. We implemented this option in order to avoid weight restrictions which are applied to international mail. This is how it works.

In case your initial parcel exceeds the weight limit, we divide your order in two or more separate parcels so it can be shipped without problem. The shipping fee which you can check on the Checkout page is correct for estimating total order shipping cost for such overweight orders.

The multi parcel option allows us to accept orders without any weight restrictions, so you can make an order with total amount which is enough for our discounts to be applied.

Furthermore, if you use multi parcel option, and your order amount exceeds the limit for import parcels set by your country, you can choose not to ship the parcels simultaneously, but after some time delay to ensure smooth customs clearance when importing; you can even set a number of addressees; feel free to ask for this option in the comment field while making your order. Parcel packing. We at JAPANEXPORTS ONLINE SHOP do our best to pack your parcels in a way to ensure safe delivery of your order. You can find pictures of parcels prepared for shipping, below.

  


*By default, we use manufacturer original package for your orders; but, in case manufacturer`s box is not enough to carry your order, or your order contains items from several manufacturers, we can use non-standard cardboard package. Please note that we can often use eco-friendly recycled cardboard to pack your order.

Shipping cost estimate is true and accurate in 95% cases, but sometimes the total weight of your order after packing, and shipping fee accordingly, differs from the amount which has been earlier provided by the Estimate. If it happens that you have been charged higher shipping cost amount than it actually is, JAPANEXPORTS ONLINE SHOP can offer you the following options:

By default, we present you a discount coupon per the excess amount you have paid for shipping; you can use it while making next order; or

We reimburse the excess amount via transferring to your PayPal account.

In case of international shipping, it is also important to provide all required documents thus avoiding any delays in the customs clearance procedures. The papers we provide by default are:

1) Customs Declaration (form CN23) in written either in English or French;

2) Invoice (slightly differs from an invoice we provide for payment after order is made);

3) Dispatch Note (consists of Sender`s copy, Proof of Delivery etc.)

The documents are similar for each destination country, the only difference is in quantity required to provide by the customs. We will send you all documents via email along with shipping confirmation message; originals will be sent along with the parcel(s).

*In case you may need any supporting documents other than listed above, please contact us BEFORE placing the order. Please note that some certificates etc. cannot be provided, depending on certain manufacturer`s policy.

*Note that the products are provided with manufacturer`s original labels written in Japanese; no additional labeling in English and / or other languages will be provided by our company.

*Please note we cannot make changes to total order amount in the supporting documents.  

We do not sell any goods which can be considered dangerous and thus unable to ship using international mail services. While making order at JAPANEXPORTS online store, you can be sure every item you choose can be shipped easily!
